He told me that is why sometimes you see an empty cab during peak hour and they don't stop. They have a regular bi-weekly paying customer

elindra SG Coz my flat is like 5 mins walk away from the MRT and my office is like 10 mins walk away from the MRT. No point taking a cab The only time I take a cab is when I go for chiropractic treatment or going somewhere for shopping or something and I'm too lazy to walk to the train station
av98m SG I see.... For me its 15 minutes to walk to the MRT, and then 15 minutes walking from MRT to the office. MRT journey takes about 40 minutes. Total combined time is 1 hour 10 minutes. By taxi, 30 minutes tops. 20 minutes if traffic is good.

elindra SG For me 5 mins to walk to MRT Journey takes about 17 mins 10 mins to office Just about 1/2 hour to get to work. No point spending more on a cab
